IF you have insurance that may cover Medical Massage, here are the steps to take:

​1.  Get a written prescription from the Surgeon or primary Physician stating both items:
     A.  Patient diagnosis (with codes)
     B.  Recommendations for Medical Massage (including # of visits)

2.  You will then submit the receipts for Medical Massage, as well as the doctors prescription to get reimbursement from the insurance company.

3.  Since you have paid for the Medical Massage sessions up front, all reimbursements from the insurance company will go to you.

​If you want pre-approvals for Medical Massage -follow these steps:

1.  Call Medical Massage Bandera to discuss your situation so that we can provide the correct Medical Massage codes.

2.  Call the insurance company/provider with the Medical Massage codes and find out how much coverage they will reimburse.  Make sure you mention that the Physician is prescribing Medical Massage services.
